Oundbound calls ring once then drop.

My wife's 2014 Ford edge has this strange issue with sync.  Inbound calls work just fine.   Outbound calls ring once the disconnect.

 

Each time she calls me while connected to sync, the call will not connect.   I end up having to call her back.

 

Other than un-pair deleting and re-paring, what other troubleshooting should I try?

Hi Thesavo and welcome to the Ford SYNC Forum. How long have you owned the vehicle? Did it ever work correctly for outgoing calls?

 

My recommendations: First, try pairing another phone to see if it will work correctly with your vehicle SYNC system.

 

Then try performing a SYNC Master reset, as per the instructions in your Owners Manual. If you do not have your hard copy, you can download the PDF version here: https://www.fordpro.com/en-us/fleet-vehicles/manuals-and-guides/

 

If neither of those suggestions work, you may need to have this diagnosed and corrected by your Ford Dealership. And/or perhaps one of our tech members will jump in with more suggestions.
