mcj1977
2009 Fusion SE with sync... I have an LG VX9200 and have attempted to play MP3's off of the phone through the bluetooth audio command. The sound quality is very poor. Anyone know if this is just the way it is, or can I do anything to resolve (ie equipment / software).
LarryQW
I find the bluetooth audio is not the greatest, but surprisingly good (with my poor hearing). Of course the best is to use the USB interface. For better audio with Bluetooth, you need to turn your phone volume up near the max.
Muzicman61
Place the phone is USB storage mode. Usually found in the Tools menu. Then it will act just like a USB hard drive or flash drive. Sync will index it and you will still be able to use voice commands to access it. mcj1977
Tried USB, unfortunately getting "USB not Recognized" message and it defaulted to Bluetooth Audio with the poor sound quality. Any other ideas? Do I need to update software or something since this is a relatively new phone?

I've succesfully connected with the Voyager, ENV 2 and ENV Touch. By nature, BT audio isn't the greatest. Can you hook your phone up to your computer and check the format of the memory card. If I remember, its alway FAT file system.

I reformatted both using the phone and the pc but it remains as generic hierarchial. Any ideas?
Muzicman61
Not sure if this would work, but maybe you could format the card in the PC as FAT. Then recreate the default folder structure that your phone uses. Then put it back in the phone and see if the phone recognizes the card. coop486
I connect my Palm Pre to BlueTooth Audio and the sounds is GREAT. Sounds better than Sirius and just as good as a USB connected MP3 player.
brooksgrainger
Sadly my iPhone has a sound issue with BT as well. It is not the sound quality per se, but every so often the sound "skips". It just drops the sound for a fraction of a second, then picks up right where it left off. I have not yet remembered to take my USB/iphone cable out to the car with me to check that. If that works then I'll just pick up a new cable. The car came with 6 free months of Sat radio. The wife has Sat in her car and I can add internet radio to that for $3/mo. Seems that is a better solution if the iPhone will run well on the USB.
