Hi folks, I've read a few pages on this forum but can't find any that relate to accessing navigation history. Specifically, I am wondering if it is possible to access my cars location, with a time stamp and GPS coordinates, for a specific day.

Is this information held by sync3? If so, how do I access it?

Any help or advice would be great.

Thanks in advance.

 Grant.

Hi Grant and welcome to the Ford SYNC Forum. No. If a tracking history is stored by SYNC or another vehicle system, it is not owner accessible though any factory setting or means which I have ever heard of.

Previously input Destinations, Favorites etc. can be accessed, but that does not seem to be what you are asking for.

Perhaps there may be something accessible through FORScan or other diagnostics, but another member would need to guide you on that.

You could also place a GeoTag or similar device in your vehicle which would allow tracking.

Let us know how you make out and good luck.

I would agree with bbf2530.  If you need this kind of data, I would suggest installing and using Android Auto.  I believe then you might be able to obtain your driving history data.  Not 100% sure but it seems like I've seen that.

Also, I think Google keeps your location data somewhere but not sure how you retrieve that.
