Hello Every one,

i recently bought ford explorer xlt version. The sync with ford touch version is in wrong date. How can i change it.

Hi Ajmal and welcome to the Ford SYNC Forum. I am not sure what you are referring to by the "wrong date". Also, you do not mention which model year your vehicle is.

If whatever you need to adjust is owner adjustable, it will be covered in the Owners Manual. If you do not have your hard copy, you can download the PDF version here: https://www.fleet.ford.com/parts-service/resources/owner-manuals/

Let us know how you make out and good luck.

Hi ,

When looking at the calender page , it reads 2010 as the present year.Pushing the forward or back arrows only changes the Month. I can't figure a way to change the year that shows on the calender screen. Thanks

Hi Ajmal. Yes, you mentioned in your first post that it is an Explorer XLT. But again, you still have not stated what model year, and settings/procedures can sometimes vary from one model year to the next.

Unless someone else here can jump in with the correct procedure, it would be quicker for you to find the answer in the SYNC section of your Owners Manual.

Or if you do not have your hard copy, you can download the PDF version from the website I previously linked to and research it there.

Keep us updated and good luck.

Sorry.. Its 2012 model. I have gone through the manual today. Asper manual calendar date date cant be be set . Its should be automatically corrects according to GPS. But for me this scenario doesn’t work.

Hi Ajmal. Then my only thought would be to ensure any setting that offers an automatic time/date update is enabled.

Otherwise, unless another member has some insight into this issue, you will probably need a Ford Dealer to adjust this for you, or diagnose any problem causing the incorrect date to display.

Let us know how you make out and good luck. .
