Snakeight
Hello , I have some bad issues with my SYNC on my 2016 FORD Fiesta for couple a months now. When I listen to music with SPOTIFY I can only see the title of the first track playing on the screen and when I want to change the track with "next" button, the title doesn't change and it remains the same untill a push "PAUSE + START". After that all goes the same when I change , i always have to push "Pause + Play" to update the name. I already have made the Update via USB key on my car and the problem is still here. I have made tests with Youtube App on my phone and it seems to be OK. The problem is only with SPOTIFY. Can anyone help me ? Thanks a lot :)

What version of SYNC (find it in the General/Settings tabs on your SYNC screen)? If this is only occurring with Spotify, then it would seem to be an issue with overall Spotify compatibility itself, as opposed to SYNC. Assuming your phone and Spotify app are fully updated, you could try a SYNC System Master Reset. However, I'm not sure it will help, and then you will need to re-pair phones, input favorite stations again, etc. etc. Hopefully another member who has seen this issue will jump in with a better solution. Keep us updated ad good luck.
Snakeight
Hi, Thank you for you answer. I have updated SYNC with the latest version according to officiel FORD website with my car's indentification number. I agree with you, the problems seems to come from Spotify itself but why now ? It used to work very well before. I also tried to put the fuse off et on to discharge system and reset with no efficiency. How do you proceed for the reset ? Multitask
The factory reset just gets rid of the settings, does not affect the version. Usually it is found in the 'about' area, and would be called Factory Reset (or something really close)

Could be due to an incompatibility between the latest Spotify version and SYNC. Or any of a multitude of other reasons. However, you can find the reset procedure for your particular vehicle in the SYNC section of your Owners Manual. You can probably find the correct page by looking in the Index under '"SYNC', then "Reset" (or similar terms). If you don't have your hard copy, you can download the PDF version here: https://www.fleet.ford.com/parts-service/resources/owner-manuals/ Let us know how you make out and good luck.
