digitaldowns
Directly after upgrading my SYNC version in my 2013 Taurus, changing the temperature has ZERO effect on the A/C or heat and the heated and A/C seats no longer function…. Coincidence?? can I downgrade to the original version the 2013 Taurus shipped with? cheers!
Muzicman61
Possibly coincidence... have you tried doing a sync factory reset after the upgrade?
Multitask
Either the 4" or the 8" Sync 2? So we know what you are dealing with .... and what version was it on before, and what version is it on now ? THese are details that some people might want to know so they can assist. And FYI: a factory reset just resets the settings, not the versions... I wish they could/would change that to Reset Settings... Factory Reset makes it sound like you are resetting back to what it came with out of theFactory. ? I would normally think coincidence as well… However, immediately after I updated software, the temperatures stopped working for the climate, the heated and air-conditioned function of the seats stopped responding, the back up camera started flaking out, along with some other intermittent issues. I'm thinking that the updates took the devices just over the hum... i.e. they were going to fail eventually anyway
enigma-2
Try a reset. Pull your fuse, run car for a few minutes, stop engine and replace fuse and see if full functioning is replaced. digitaldowns
