EliB
I am currently running sync 3.4 build 21098 on my Lincoln nautilus. I updated the maps fairly recently by usb. Recently an OTA update came via wifi 4U5T-14G422-CAH_1615428946000.TAR.GZ. Seems to have downloaded ok but now is stuck for hours in the installing mode. I have a picture attached. How long should this take? Anything to do? Thank you
Multitask
over wifi it will be slow.... last time I did it like that it took about a week for all the files.... It will do it , eventually, even if you shut it off, it will pick up where it left off. Last one, I started it , it was 1/3 done, took it to the dealer (for oil change) and put it on their wifi, and came back 3 hours later, it was done
Muzicman61
But it sounds like the download finished, perhaps not successfully but it is now trying to install the update. I'd recommend downloading the update yourself and put it on a USB drive. Then do the installation yourself.
alcohenusa
This looks to be part of the 2.20 Map update which is only available using the wifi method (and I believe only 3.4 users are getting it, at least for now). There are about 13 individual files and it will take a while for all of them to download and install. Sync will report that the maps are 2.20 some time prior to all of the files being installed. Multitask
2.20 took about 3 days for me to get all the files, and then a couple week later, I think it's the same one posted came through.... I remember the CAH part...
