southside
2020 Edge ST shows road condition pop-ups that are a bit distracting. The information value is zero to negative. How do I turn the darn things off. (Trying to post photo of the pop-up but keep getting an upload error message)

Are you using the built in Navigation system? Or are you using a Map/Travel app through CarPlay, Android Auto or LincolnWay Apps (i.e. Waze, Google Maps etc.)? Like Multitask, I am not sure if you can. In my case, because I have never seen it in my car. My guess (and only a guess), is that it can be turned on/off through whatever you are using. So if you are using the built-in Navigation system, look through the SYNC Navigation settings menu for enabling/disabling Traffic Alerts/Warning etc. If you are using Waze, Google Maps, etc., then you would need to look through the settings for that particular app on your phone, to enable/disable. Perhaps another member who has run across this will jump in. Let us know how you make out and good luck.
southside
It’s the built in nav system. I’ve gone through the menu system with the owner’s manual in my hand...no luck so far. I think there was an option to turn off notifications during the initial setup but I haven’t been able to get back to the initial setup screens. I tried doing a factory reset but it didn’t get me back to the initial setup. I’m thinking there must be some setting accessible through FORScan which will block the pop-ups. Maybe it’s wishful thinking. Edited February 17, 2021 by southside

Multitask
I don't see mine much, I use Google Maps or Waze But when I do see it, it's translucent... not solid like you showed.... It would be nice it there was a toggle, and that it is only there for a couple seconds....
