noreast
Apologies if the answer is in user manual (haven't taken delivery of car yet). Will Sync pair to more than one phone simultaneously? If so which one will be used to send/receive calls with voice command when both phones are in the car? LarryQW
Yes, I have been able to pair my phone for phone calls, while my daughter uses her paired phone for Bluetooth music fed into the SYNC system. (Not at the same time.) The SYNC system starts by selecting the "favorite" phone, and moves down the list of available paired phones. With my Nav system, I can also select on the screen which phone to use out of the ones available in the car.

Thank you LarryQW, I know I should have ordered the Nav system Is there a way to select without the Nav screen?
chrissyl
Thank you LarryQW, I know I should have ordered the Nav system Is there a way to select without the Nav screen? My '09 Focus has no nav screen. The radio display handles display of SYNC settings information. After entering "phone mode" by pressing the steering wheel or center stack "phone" button, I use one of the scrolling controls to select/display the "system settings" menu, then scroll to/select the "BT device" menu, then scroll to/select the "Set Primary?" command. Finally, I scroll through the list of paired phones (my version of SYNC will pair with up to a dozen BT phones) to the one I want to designate as my primary phone, and press the "OK" button to set the primary phone. This set-up should only be done with the vehicle stationary, of course. BTW, since YM(odel)MV, you can download a PDF of the SYNC manual for your model from the official Ford SYNC site (you can access it from http://www.fordvehicles.com/innovation/sync/owners/).
