jenade Posted January 22, 2010 Report Share Posted January 22, 2010 (edited) I recently bought a 2010 Ford Edge, tried connecting the Samsung u450, had all kinds of problems, it eventually paired and downloaded my phonebook ONCE, then after that it was all downhill. I changed a number on my phone but the AUTO PHONEBOOK UP-DATE didn't work. So now I have problems with that contact. I guess I'll have to delete everything and start again, but I'm afraid if I do that I won't be able to install at all. Come on Ford /Microsoft whats going on with you and Samsung???? This phone is the latest offering from Verizon. I haven't seen any complaints re the u450, its not in the tested units, does this mean its not approved or you haven't got around to testing it? Anyone any ideas or suggestions Being on the approved list means the phone will work and be supported. Some phones not on the list indeed have problems in various forms. But most phones not on the list work well. (For instance, I found that my new Droid works fine, you just need to type the code very fast in order to pair. That might be a problem with your phone too. ) You need to search the forums and see other people's experience with your phone.
