firecoral Posted December 12, 2019 Report Share Posted December 12, 2019 Hello I am looking for assistance fixing my sync or a redirect to a solution. I have a 2014 ford fusion with the 4x2 lcd screen with sync 2 i think. My problem is that my cell phone (S8) will connect for call and text messages and works fine. however My car will not find my phone for Bluetooth audio and it worked wine a week ago. I believe it is a car problem. I, I tried to connect a S5 and that device worked for calls but also could not be found for Bluetooth audio. I have restarted both phones with no luck. I have disconnected and reconnected both on car and cell side. I have done a factory and master reset on my car side. Lastly my phone permissions are set to allow audio. My BT audio works on my home speaker so i believe it to be a car side problem. I have tried all i can think of with no luck and can not find any forums with my exact problems. Multitask Posted December 13, 2019 Report Share Posted December 13, 2019 So I understand, you un-paired the phone and then re-paired it? at both ends? If it is pairing and you can use it for handsfree, but not for music... could be Sync 2 either can no longer handle the connection for streaming music (especially if you updated your phone), or , There might be a Ford update waiting... owner.ford.com to check for that Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
