I went to the lincoln forums for SYNC info and it redirected to this forum. I imagine the sync radios are same/similar in ford/lincoln platforms. I registered with the lincoln web site etc.. to download updates etc.. I input my info (VIN, name, address etc..) I then go to the SYNC download page and click but to download ( to pc for usb flash drive) I just get a circle spinning. I have tried chrome,firefox and opera. Anyone know if the site is down? Thanks...carla Hi carla. The Lincoln and Ford SYNC download sites are problematic for all of us. You just need to keep trying until it works. You can call Lincoln Concierge, but generally they will tell us that they know about the issue and it is being worked on. Keep us updated and good luck. I sent message to Lincoln (facebook concierge) They were rather helpless so I'll keep trying to download. They wanted me to set up an appt at dealer, drop off car etc.. I just dont have time to do that for what should be a simple download. They said they will "look into" the download problem. I'll take that with a grain of salt. Ha! I was unable to perform a monthly Vehicle Health Report yesterday and today, Ford advised me that my navigation maps need an update. Only problem is that I don't have in-dash navigation! What a mess. alcohenusa Posted December 11, 2019 Report Share Posted December 11, 2019 I had to disable my adblocker (using Chrome) on this POS web site to finally get it to work again. Though it still will not acknowledge that I am up to date even though I have uploaded at least 20:times. Ford support still says known issue and they ‘are working’ on it. When you are signed into the Ford Owner website, does the SYNC update page state there is an update available for your 2018 Fiesta? Does the download begin and then abort? Not begin at all? What you could do is find a VIN from a similar vehicle and see if that works.... and yes, for anyone with issues, it is really best to tell as much as you know about your issue.... you wouldn't go to the doctor and say 'i hurt' and that is all you tell them. ?
