Shockaz
I recently had my 12 fusion at the dealer to replace the airbag per the recall. Since then I no longer have sync. The dealer claims there was nothing they could have done to cause this problem. Long story short I no longer have the sync function on my car. The deck will no longer recognize any aux inputs from console. I have tried to reset radio by pulling fuse and battery cable. And nothing does anyone have any other ideas? Multitask
One would think they didn't do anything.... but the steering wheel is connected, even if it's bluetooth... I would guess all they do is pull the wheel off , replace the airbags and reinstall it... maybe they pinched something when putting it back? Could be it would have failed even if you didn't have them work on it... Did they offer to look at it? You will end up spending $$$ anyway... maybe time to use that $$$ to get a better stereo put in.... <shrug>
Muzicman61
I'd take it to a different dealer and let them diagnose the problem. Then ask if the air bag replacement could have caused the problem. If they say yes... get them to document that and take the bill back to the first dealership.
