biggka77
I have a 2013 focus. Im trying to update my sync with usb. I got the car a few months ago and its never been updated. I properly downloaded the update. When I put the usb in the car it starts the update automatically. Then it show 8 updates. It loads 7 of 8 then restarts. Upon restarting it says can locate usb device for upgrade. Remove and try again. I tried deleting and reinstalling update on usb and also tried 2 different usb sticks. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also has anyone have issues with the back up camera fixed and active lines keep turning off randomly? I was hoping the update would fix. TIA

ben senise
make sure that you're using a USB 2 stick and not a USB 3 stick. myself and many others had this problem and using USB 2 solved it.
Muzicman61
What format is the USB stick and the size? If you're using FAT32 perhaps try NTFS or vice versa. Use the smallest USB stick you have. Make sure they are usb 2.0 drives.
