Iampetercraig
I updated my Sync last night and it removed my Navigation software. Anyone experience this? Any resolution ? 2013 Edge Sel Thanks Peter Edited September 22, 2018 by Iampetercraig
Multitask
What did you update too? What was it before? Was the Nav factory installed and not a hack? What card do you have? Thinks we need to know to help

Multitask
Hmm.. so is it not seeing the A4 card, i.e. asking for Nav card, or just not doing anything? Was it the update you got from owner.ford.com ?

Multitask
If no one gives you a fix here, time for the dealer.
Sasktechy
Spoke to Lincoln Concierge service. They had me try a master reset, also made no difference, so have an appointment with the dealer. The good news is there is a Field Service action that extends the warranty from 3 to 5 years, so it will be covered. Still sucks that their own update caused this.... Multitask
I'm glad there is a fix, but yes it's a bummer that you have to take it back for the 'fix'
Sasktechy
Just an update on my initial problem of lost NAV after update. Took it to dealer and even they could not re-load it! They had to replace the APIM and then took several attempts to load. All good now.
Iampetercraig
My dealer couldn't fix it so they upgraded the card and I was charged for it..please be aware.. Now I have to fight Ford. Ugh
Multitask
They charged you because it's not under warranty more than likely. The APIM is still under the warranty as fas as I know, so if that is what they replaced, it should have been free.
lecrict
I just updated my Sync as well and the Nav is gone. I thought I read somewhere that you had to have an A7 or newer card ? I ordered an update SD Nav card.... Will this bring back my Nav? !!
