Ford Owner Website Erroneously Shows NO SYNC After Update

I have a 2015 Ford Fusion with SYNC. Last night I did the update that was available on the Ford owner website. After the update I uploaded the XML file on my USB drive to Ford showing my version. I received a confirmation that the lXML file was received. When I checked (last night and again today) to see if the new update was on my account, the Ford owner website said this:

 

Your vehicle is not SYNC equipped

We're sorry. It appears your vehicle isn't equipped with SYNC.

If you feel you received this message in error, please download our version checker and let us know you have SYNC.

If you received this message and recently ran the version checker, please upload your confirmation now.

I then downloaded the version checker and again uploaded the XML file that the version checker created. I am still receiving the same error. What am I doing wrong?
