pdinnj Posted September 10, 2017 Report Share Posted September 10, 2017 I recently bought a 2012 Fusion SE with SYNC, plain display. The volume of the SYNC voice seems to be set to be at 3, which is too loud, no matter what. Quite disturbing when a text arrives and when I press the voice or phone buttons. I can't find a setting to control the level, except to lower the volume with the knob or steering wheel controls when she speaks, to 1.5, a comfortable level. That only holds until that SYNC session is done. The next time I press voice or a text comes in, it's back to 3. Speed sensitive volume does not affect it. I did find an update on the Ford site and installed it, but that did not fix it. Anybody have an idea? If I can't get it to stay at the volume I set, I'm going to need to stop using the system.
