Steven Kristopher
So I recently Purchased a 2011 ford fusion SE from the dealership, but un suprisingly it did not come with an owners manual. I do NOT have a touch screen navi, I only have an Aux plug in in my middle console, I have not been able to find a usb plug in, and I dont have the Phone button on my steering wheel either. My problem is that when i press the phone button on my consol a message comes up that reads "No Phone" now after that message had appeared I went online to find a step by step guide, Ive followed all the directions as far as turning the car on putting it in park, pressing phone then the scan button - or putting the stereo in aux mode then press the Ok button, Ive tried pretty much every option possible, but every time nothing happens, no menu comes up or anything. any ideas? rockchie
then your car is a base model without sync. if it only has an aux and the phone buttone only says "no phone" instead of "no phone detected" then "add bluetooth device" then its a base model without sync not all the cars come with it. do you happen to have on the steering wheel the button with a face thats talking? if you do then you Should have sync but i know they will include the phone button on base models because they wont make a seperate trim package for them. Steven Kristopher
Well that would make sense, no I dont have the button on my sterring wheel, do you know if they sell a blue tooth adapter will hook up the my stock stereo, or am I stuck being teased by a Phone button that will never work? lol
rockchie
i know the dealership sells one you can add and they add the buttons and all that. Im not sure exactly on the price but if you ask your service manager at your dealership they should be able to answer those more spacific questions. but yes, you can have it added on afterwards. abjb
Not sure if I can say this here  . I added a Parrot CK3100 bluetooth to my 05 F250. Worked better than Sync in our 08 MKX. Sync in our C-Max is much better than the 08 version in the Lincoln around town... BUT still not usable at Interstate speed .
