Adding Wallpaper Images

Recommended Posts

I'll ask this on the Ford Edge forum as well, but has anyone had any luck adding wallpaper images? I've tried all the approved file type and in the exact size recommended (and others--smaller and larger). I get an error message saying the image is not formatted properly. I'm using USB to load (USB works fine as it sees the files--and plays music).

I tried several times before I figured it out. Your thumb drive needs to be formated with the FAT formating system. FAT32 and NFTS do not work

Hi I seem to have the same issue with my Sync on the Lincoln MKZ Hybrid I purchased last week. I put some pictures on the thumb drive and tried to download to my usb and too no luck, stating that it does not support. Can anyone assist????

Can someone please guide me further as to how to download the wallpaper.? 700x400 PNG is jibberish to me!

Thanks

Meagan

The numbers are the dimensions or "resolution" of the picture. It is measured in pixels. Image editing software measures things in pixels. If you are on Windows 7, it has the new version of Paint and it has the pixels at the bottom. Just resize and crop your picture to the right resolution.

PNG is the file type. When you're done cropping, just save it as a JPG or PNG.

Also, speaking generally now, I just updated to 2.11 and it seems to be having NO problems displaying pictures I had trouble with on 2.8.
