ThunderEagle
Ok, I just got a new 2011 F-150. According to SyncMyRide, it has SYNC version Gen1 - V3.2 I've tried to run the version checker 1.3, but when I attempt to uploade it gets to 99% and says unsuccessful, but I can see and read the .XML file on my thumb drive. The Droid X connects fine, no problems with phone book, making or recieving calls. The very first time I connected, I was able to stream Pandora from my phone through the Bluetooth audio. Now it either says no bluetooth devices are connected (but phone still works) or if it does happen to connect, no sound. I turn BT off on my phone and I immediately hear Pandora on my phone's speakers. Anyone have any ideas? I've deleted the pairing from both the truck and phone and started over to no avail. As an aside, will I get AppLink on the F-150 anytime soon? Is there a way to hack the Festiva's version over? Thanks for any help.

Occasionally, maybe once a month, my Droid looses BT and cannot pair with SYNC. In all cases, I've resolved it by turning off and on my Droid phone to reboot. It then pairs immediate. No biggie, I though it was a cool option, I'll listen to sirius more often than Pandora anyhow.
ThunderEagle
I was going to try and pull the SYNC fuse, until I saw just what a PITA it is to get to the thing. I then did both a Master and Factory Default reset, repaired my Droid X, and Bluetooth Audio was again working. Hopefully this won't be a normal thing. I have read in a couple of places that when pairing you should use the default 0000 instead of the code that Sync gives you. Did either of your try that or do you think that might make a difference? Just a thought.........

I also had issues with BT connections and calls... only makes a call on 2nd try... I did a factory reset and seemed to fix it. I also recently updates Sync to Sync VersionGen1 ¿ V3.2.2 and it works as well... Wife has 2011 Explorer with the Gen 2 Sync and it works even better
crumbum5
I have a 2012 F150 and ran into a problem playing Pandora yesterday. It kept playing audio through the phone speaker and not in the truck. My phone is the HTC Evo. I tried several things and never got the fix. I will try the phone reboot and see if it works. I'm glad I can find information like this. I did a chat last night with someone on the Ford website and the response I got was to give the instructions for "Bluetooth Audio." That didn't work. I hope to come back with good news about a fix.
