I downloaded the latest update for the system yet when I try to say services it goes back to it's previous state. I haven't been able to access this feature since I've had the vehicle. One day I was attempting to get directions, said my destination, it said it was downloading directions, but it just sat there and never finished. The next time I attempt to connect to Sync Services, it waits about a second and then goes back to wherever it was before I hit the voice button. I tried doing a master reset (which requires you to repair your phone), but this did not help. I am looking for a solution to this also. I had read for many other problems that pulling the Sync fuse for a couple of minutes and then putting it back seemed to fix the problem. So, I tried this out and it also fixed my problem. I am now have my TDI working again. It also fixed a problem where I was unable to use voice commands on a USB drive with music files. After pulling the fuse, this is working too. I guess, since it is a Microsoft product, the solution to most everything is to restart the computer (power off and on). Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The problem lies when I try to get directions, it never accesses or gives me confirmation. When I give it a "Services" command it continues where it left off previous to my command. Although, when I did have issues with not being able to use Sync to control music, pulling the fuse worked for that just fine. Is it possible I need to go to the dealership for an update? I have a 2011 Edge and the Sync turn by turn has not worked yet. I have been back and forth with Ford, and Sync and Sync says take it to dealer to reprogram the Sync Module. Ford says they know there is an issue and working on a solution. But yet they take the vehicle, tie it up all day, knowing they won't fix it until Ford gives them the fix.
