It can sometimes take several days to a week for the SYNC database to update after you upload the XML file to the website. Concerning whether the NAV map update was successful in your vehicle: Does the "About SYNC" section of your SYNC settings show the correct, updated NAV map file number? If it does, all is good. Let us know how you make out and good luck.
Rbrown3
Yes I will see if anything has changed, but 46k file is not going to do much even though it is a zip file

After rereading your previous posts, there are a few questions: First...Did you follow the instructions exactly as written? For example, while it may only be a matter of semantics and/or incomplete information, you stated you downloaded the ZipFile to a USB. However, you need to download the ZipFile to your computer first, then unzip it, then copy/move only the specified files over to a freshly formatted (to the correct format) USB Flash drive. It is a relatively common mistake made by some to download the ZipFile to the USB drive instead of the computer first. And doing so it can muck up the works. Bottom line though...If the correct updated NAV maps version is showing listed in your SYNC settings/"About SYNC", it is all a moot point. If it shows the correct/updated version, then it has correctly updated. And it may take a week or so for the successful update to show in the Ford database. Keep us updated and good luck. Nothing has changed, I download to the computer, then transfer files to a USB that has been formatted in X Fat, plug it into the car, which then says updating, update completed, update will take place when the car restarts, so all looks good. Then I take the usb back to the computer to upload the Log file. That seems to work although no message says that its has completed. Still says there are maps to update. Again, when you go to your SYNC screen> SYNC settings> "About SYNC", what is displayed as your current map version? "NA 2 21"? Or "NA 2 22"? Something else? Get back to us and good luck. bbf2530
Hi RBrown. I'm sorry, but it slipped my mind that you are not located in the US/Canada (Ford Galaxy etc.). This means your map versions are different than those we have here (although your SYNC version seems to be numbered similarly). Therefore, I can not offer much more assistance on this. Unless another member here is better acquainted with the latest EU versions of SYNC and NAV maps, I would recommend checking with your Ford Dealer or Ford EU Customer Relations. Let us know how you make out and good luck.

Multitask
I did not think that the XML file was generated when only update the MAPS, but does when you update the OS....

Mine is the same only the car is a EcoSport 2019. So, what's going on? Come on Ford, there's obviously a map update out there, we're just not getting it!
