jjcooler
I was informed that I have a new update. But when I follow the directions and plug it into my radio, I get "File not Found". It seems from all the info on the web this problem has been around for years. I cant beleive Ford hasnt fixed it yet. Is there any fix? By the way I have a 2012 F2 50 with sync with voice activated navigation Edited April 2, 2021 by jjcooler
alcohenusa
Are you sure you have the USB properly set up? I would check the setup and try again. One thing to note if you have an iPhone. Updating to 4.6 will break the ability to use Siri. I don’t know if Android phones have a similar problem with their digital assistant. I had to roll back 2 vehicles to 4.4 to get back the old functionality.
Multitask
Make sure you are putting the files and folders on a USB 2 flash drive, not a USB 3 drive... there can be issues there. there are 2 files, and one folder also , make sure there is nothing else on it... and it's formatted as fat32 or exFAT
jjcooler
I will have to check if it’s two or three I’m not sure about that. But yes there’s nothing else on the drive and it’s formatted as fat32
Multitask
it might be 3... it's been a few years since I've done that... like I said, make sure it's USB 2, not 3.... I've tried a few USB3s that I have, and none work... so I always use a USB 2.... slower but it works. Sync 2 can be very picky....
