ltruax
The issue is intermittent but it seems to be happening more often. If I press Phone on steering wheel or on the dash it does nothing at all...no message nothing. I have checked the Sync fuse & re-seated it ..no difference. Any Help would be very much appreciated!!! Multitask
In the setting menu, not 100% sure... Is this the 4" or 8" or even the 2 lines LED?
ltruax
2 line LED also does anyone know where the sync module is located in a 2011 escape?
Multitask
so it's Sync 1 (I think) so it would be 4.xxx I believe it's near the hump/floorboard....

QuandAns42
Intermittent issues like that make me think it's not just a bluetooth connect issue. I had some issues with unresponsiveness and it turned out my cluster was going bad. If it's just the phone for now, it could devolve further into more important problems. You can't really work on clusters yourself beyond changing bulbs but my dealership wasn't going to be an option because of the pricetag. I ended up finding https://www.instrumentclusterstore.com/Ford_instrument_clusters.htm and they helped me get all my questions answered and even were able to clone my bad cluster's data on to the new one. Good as new! Good luck! CARR142
