HD FM tuning

So , I havn't seen anything about this minor thing.

 

I now have Sync3 with HD Radio, and I can tell it the station I want, say 99.1 but if it's a 99.1-3 station, I don't see how to get to the -3 ?

When tuned to an HD channel, there is typically small numbers to the right of the HD logo. Pressing each little number will tune to the dedicated channel. At least that's what I recall from memory. i'd have to look at my car at lunch to double check.

Here is are example of HD1 and HD3 on the same frequency.

 

Just turn your tuner nob to 3

Yea, I saw that after the post... so no way to punch it in directly... oh well..

 

That background is from the LIncoln, there is a way to get that from most Apims... it also means your boot screen will say Lincoln... I like mine doing that. 8)

You can press on the touch screen and select the HD channel. I honestly never knew you could use the seek button (I have not tuner nob). Haven't messed around with any APIM programming. Don't want to risk screwing anything up at least while it's still under warranty.

It's scary at first, but once you know what needs to change, it is easy. As long as you make back ups, if you change something and it is not what you were expecting, you just recover from the back up.
