Muzicman61
Wow, I've had my 17 Fusion Titanium Energi for 2 weeks now and I'm not impressed with Sync 3. It's slow changing from song to song but only when actually on the audio screen. Voice recognition seems worse than Sync 1 in my 08 Focus. I've noticed after the command "usb" you can't do any more voice commands for about 5 to 10 seconds. And sometime, she shows me a list of possible songs and I pick the one I want, and she plays something totally different. Not even close to what I was shown on the screen. And this morning Sync could not find a song I new was on my USB stick. The song was Live And Let Die by Paul McCartney and Wings. I was able to do a search and find the song. When I asked Sync what was playing she stated Live And Let Die by Wings. But she pronounced Live with a long I. Like if I said Paul McCartney Live from London. When I asked for the song using the long I she found it just fine. Also I found turning Gracenote off has helped to some extent. It seems Gracenote will override mp3 tags. Example was I asked Sync to play Nelly. It showed me several choices with Nelly Featuring XXXXX. But no plain old Nelly, which I have his Suit album. And none of my 18,000 songs have any file name or tag info with "featuring...". After turning Garcenote off, I asked for Nelly and Sync display plain old Nelly and I was able to play songs off the Suit album. Is there anywhere to officially report such bugs to Ford? I've heard they pay no attention to this forum. Rob
enigma-2
Just asking, but did you do voice training on your new system?
Muzicman61
No I have not. I have not seen anything in the manual or any of the Sync 3 menus for voice training. How do you do it? Never trained my Sync 1 and it was just great.
