Rileyriley
Using a USB stick with playlists does not indicate playlists with Browse button, just songs. However, voice command will find the playlist and play them. Is there any way this can be fixed? Small issue to fix...
ralph7up
What device did the music come from and how did you transfer it to the USB drive. I transferred mine from my iPod but as near as I can tell the playlists did not transfer. I may have tried voice commands and could not get them to work. As I recall, only songs, artists, and genre's work. Those are a part of the embedded audio file.

It formats them in a generic way for the sync to read them or any pc for that matter. Playlists must be created in a way that the system can read the playlist instructions. That's why the program is useful . Vlc is another program that can make similar playlists. Once they are transferred , artist, and songs and albums can also work...but only songs can be browsed on sync usb.The issue is really just the way the sync system allows you to browse them and that seems to be a missing feature. jtdwab
I will add to this issue a little, I have a 2017 Escape and put together a usb drive with songs and audiobooks. I wanted to make playlists for the books so the tracks would be in order. It took me a few days to find this sight to know that the playlist folder has to be "playlists", not "playlist". Here is the interesting part, when I had it spelled without the "s" at the end the playlist button would show up and it would say "Playlist folder is empty". When I fixed the spelling the playlist folder disappears. I tried to use voice and it fails to understand the word playlist so I think the feature is broken or I'm just doing it wrong.
