CiDhed
December 2nd is the tentative date for the rollout but is subject to change as per my dealer. I don't see anything in the dealer message center about it. I wonder where they heard it from?

NOTMY911
this got released today... Must be for Ford only, I just check and it tell me that I'm up to date: SYNC3 v1.
tjeeper46
I own a 2016 Ford Edge. It tells me I'm up to date as well. Sync3 v1.1, GB5T-14G381-AR, which was installed by my dealer on 9/9/16 when they were trying to fix the problem with media players. They told me they were also replacing the USB hub in an attempt to fix the media player issue. I assume that happened, but I do not know what version of the USB hub hardware was used. drw19
No updates for 2016 Ford Edge available. The video above is about 'how to update using an USB drive', but not announcing version 2.0 availability. John Ian Briody
Just got told by my dealer, and by Ford Sync team that the update "will be available some time in early 2017". It's official. We are getting screwed over yet again.

BigBehr
Both the SYNC site and my Settings in the MKX tell me my version 1.0 is the most up to date. Where does the version 1.1 show?

rdftrain
Both the SYNC site and my Settings in the MKX tell me my version 1.0 is the most up to date. Where does the version 1.1 show? The updated version is Sync 3 version 2.0. I talked to a Ford Sync customer service representative yesterday and he said they are still being told "by the end of the year". I hope he is correct. BigBehr
I guess I'm more curious about Version 1.1. When was it released and did folks with embedded modem have it update automatically?
ralph7up
I guess I'm more curious about Version 1.1. When was it released and did folks with embedded modem have it update automatically? I have version 1.1 now on my 2016 Ford Escape Titanium. I got the update via wifi around early summer but had a bad install and the dealer had to complete. My Ford "My owner account" lists it as being the most recent available for my vehicle. Having said that, I do not have a clue as to what the update does. I also have no clue if the update is model specific, vehicle specific, or ANY combination. So version 1.1 MAY NOT be appropriate for your vehicle. This lack of information was and is a continuing source of frustration with my perception as to how Ford handles these things. I was told by a Ford representative on another board that he could PM me more detail on what the update entails. I did PM him but he never responded. So like others, I am a mushroom! Having got that off my chest. I do like my Escape.

a4tech
You can use HC3T-14F014-BC. It works fine.

We are getting screwed over yet again. So, I haven't seen anything on the dealer side of things about a delay. Also, on my vehicle in pts it use to show an upgrade option to v1.1, that no longer shows as of a few days ago. Can you quote where the Ford Sync Team said that?
