dtlocke
Hey charley, Have you downloaded the Sync My iTunes program to help with the indexing? If not, log into your Owner account and click on SYNC & VEHICLE FEATURES then CHECK FOR SOFTWARE UPDATES on the right side of the box. Scroll down about halfway through the page and you'll see the option to download the program in the middle. You can also copy this link to take you there as well: https://owner.ford.com/tools/account/how-tos/keep-your-sync-up-to-date.html Cara I just tried connecting my iPod classic 160GB today (with lots of music, almost full) (Lincoln MKX, Sync 3 v 2.2) and had all sorts of problems. I maintain the music on it manually and have invested *a lot* of effort in that over the years. So what does Sync My iTunes do exactly, I don't see a description of that? Specifically, would it work directly on my device, or would it do something with my iTunes library on my computer? If the latter, I don't think it would help at all in my situation. -D. dtlocke
And if the indexing is just for voice (?) it sure would be nice to be able to disable that.
