jtouchette
I have a 2009 F-350 equipped with Sync. About 1 1/2 years ago the Sync stopped working, it didn't even show up on the radio. I took it to the local dealer (Coconut Point Ford in Estero,FL) where they proceeded to tell me it needed a new module because my "chip" interfered with it. For $400.00+ US, they replaced the module, now a year and a half later, the same thing has happened. I had called the dealership 4 weeks ago and left message for them to call me...NO CALL! I've contacted FORD, no help...told me I had to take it to the dealer! I have FM, AM and CD, NO SYNC, NO SIRIUS and NO HAPPY! I did unhooked the batteries for about 15 minutes per the dealers instructions a year and a half ago, but nope...didn't work. IF anyone has any idea what might be happening, I would be genuinely interested in your thoughts.
rockchie
well i would go back to dealer and contact them in person just to get some help on hand. but from what i understand sync services are free for only 3 years and it sounds like that time is up but to my understanding it should still be there. so i would go to the dealer and get it checked out but i wouldn't expect the sync services to work afterward. bryan240g
Not sure he is reffering to Sync Services. But rather his SYNC is not working. Have you found and checked the fuses? What else has the dealer done about this?
