Most of the time the Sync system sees the iphone and it works fine, but intermittently the sync system will not find the iphone and says no phone connected. The next time you try to use it, it may or may not connect, sometimes within 5 minutes. I have taken it to the Ford dealer twice and they say they cannot find anything wrong.
