bad1709
I have had my car less than a month, and the ability to use my ipod and bluetooth stream music from my droid phone has not worked most of the time. I have had it in the shop 5 different days, always leave with it working then the next day it doesn't. I can view my ipod selection on the screen but no sound comes out. It does recognize my phone but not when I try to play my pandora throught bluetooth. It works and then it doesn't work. Does anyone else have these issues? (i.e. outputting through the dock connector instead of bluetooth or vice versa) This requires switching it on the iphone to the appropriate output. Ellis8
I have had my Focus 2012 since the end of September and all was well until last week. At this time I am not able to operate the radio unless I use my phone to place a call. When I end the call the radio comes on. Two nights ago I placed a call and it was dropped. The person called me back and there was no pop-up window to answer the call. The phone continued to ring in the car until I shut the engine off 15 minutes later. Ford intends to provide a USB stick with a new operating system in 2012. I was told at the dealership that they could re-boot my system and that would be helpful. Anybody experience similar problems, and are there any home grown solutions?
aaronio
My focus 2012 does the same. On USB mode it shows like its playing and says the song name and everything but I hear nothing. I have cranked the volume all up and nothing!. Then on Bluethoot it pairs then when I hit play it opens my phone's music player but it stops either at the car or at the music player, I try to press play again but nothing. It worked fine (when I say fine I have very low expectations since it have never worked as I wish) then it stopped working. The dealer told me I have to leave the car there for 2 days in order to fix the issue. Is there a do it yourself upgrade???
