Hi folks, I have had a bizarre problem with my 2019 ford edge for a couple of days. The Sync screen is not working (black) for the radio, navigation etc, etc. but the screen itself is working when I turn the cameras on. plus the radio is working since I can hear the music and change the volume, but I am not able to switch the radio station from the main console or the steering wheel. the volume from the main knob and the steering wheel works fine but not the other buttons (concerning the radio of course). any help?

I have experienced random bouts of unresponsive touch screen on our 2017 Ford Edge. Everything is working, you just can't get the screen to respond. You can do voice commands, so the background function(s) are working. Sometimes it will start working again and then stop again. I found that (frustration) that a sharp knock to the screen with your knuckle will a lot of times free it up, usually not permanently . It may not happen for a while and then it comes back. I found reference to a Ford SSM - Special Service Message. Ford SSM 47167 2016-2017 Ford And Lincoln Vehicles Equipped With SYNC 3 - Touchscreen Unresponsive. From what I understand, this means it is a multiple reported problem, but there may be no known solution yet. ​Wondering how many people are experiencing this or have any more information.

Over the last few weeks my touch screen in my 2011 edge has gotten worse and worse at touch response to the point where it is now nearly imposiible to use any function that requires pressing buttons on the upper right quarter of the screen. I've pulled the fuse sever times and dne a master reset rice to no avail. Anyone have ny experience in this area? I can't even use the nav system since I have to touch the top right corner or the screen. It's really upsetting!
