  1. I recently had to retire my 2015 Explorer and took over a 2016 Edge. The original Sync in my Explorer worked fine with my music library on a 32gig USB Flash drive. But there is a quirk using that same drive in my 2016 Edge. The quirk is... I have organized my hundreds of albums into genres on my PC's itunes, and copied them onto my flash drive. (The reason: If I'm in a the mood for Hard Rock, I can explore artists like Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Van Halen, etc. grouped together instead of arrowing down thru my ENTIRE collection alphabetically.) On my Edge, albums that are compilations by various artists ("70's Heavy Metal" or "Grunge Rock") are not listed among other albums in the Hard Rock genre -- only the artists are listed along with ALL the artists in that genre! This is a quirk that probably only I would even notice but it has been how I've searched for music to listen to for years. What's frustrating is that my older Explorer worked with this feature but the newer Edge does not. I've tweaked the metadata on these albums (the stuff I can access with Windows,) but no luck. My Sync1 version is 5.9. I see there's a 5.11 but I don't know how to get it and I'm not sure that fix would be in it anyway. I downloaded an update a few years ago but I'm not sure what version it is and I'm hesitant to mess with it until I'm sure it's good... So... 1. Any suggestions on fixing the Genres/Various Artists issue? 2. How do I identify the version number of the update I downloaded before? 3. Where can I find a reliable version of 5.11? Thanks in advance for any replies!
