  1. In my latest model Fiesta ST Line with the B&O sound system and the full navigation upgrade the Spotify link only shows a very limited list of favorites/albums/playlists when accessing Spotify via the central display screen. All the rest works well, and the system does not lock up or anything else. The list contains around 20 items, no more while the phone shows a lot more. Playing the items not on the list on the phone itself works, and it also works when attached to the car via de apple cable. I couple the phone via Bluetooth (with no cable connected, I know). Then I connect via the cable, and it is the official apple cable. It is connected to an iPone 8, with the latest iOS update. Who can help? The garage just says they don't know, and leave me hanging.
  2. I've been using Spotify in my 2017 ford Fiesta mk7 since I bought it, in January 2018 Spotify was removed from apps usable in applinks and I have to revert to a previous version of Spotify to continue using it. That wasn't a problem until a few days ago. Everytime I go into SYNC apps and select Spotify I get a message saying "Spotify not authorized" and the app doesn't open. I have tried defaulting my Sync settings and a master reset but have no idea what the issue is. Can anyone help my situation? Thanks
  3. I have a 2017+ Ford Fiesta with Sync 3 and 8in touchscreen and a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge phone. I'm in the UK. Since buying the car in late October I've found some glitches in how the car and phone work together through Android Auto. For example: - Sometimes if I'm listening to Spotify via AA then make or receive a phone call, after the call the audio is coming only from the front speakers or goes to the radio rather than returning to Spotify - Sometimes when I connect the phone to the car via a USB cable the connection isn't made first time and I have to try again These aren't enormous problems but they're irritating. I wonder if how I connect the two could be to blame. So I have some questions: - Given that Android Auto works via a USB cable rather than Bluetooth, should I switch off Bluetooth entirely, or is it needed for AA to function? - What is the optimum sequence of events when connecting and disconnecting? Currently I switch on the car's ignition, wait for Sync 3 to start up and make a Bluetooth connection to the phone, then connect the cable. Most times (but not always), AA then starts up. When I leave the car I switch off the engine, then open the door so Sync 3 switches off, then when the screen is blank I disconnect the USB lead. Is this the right way to do it? Can the Sync 3 on/off switch be used in any way? Any tips on how to make the Sync 3 Android Auto experience glitch-free would be appreciated.
  4. I have a 2016 Mustang and a Samsung phone. When I launch the Spotify app from the APPS menu, it will get stuck at "Loading ..." It shows the reverse, play and forward buttons on the SYNC 3 screen, but that's it. If you hit the MENU button, and select something like Your Favorites, it just goes back to Loading. The only way to get out of this is to shut the car off, then back on - then (sometimes) Spotify will work correctly. I've also restarted the phone when it does this, thinking that would help -- no dice, SYNC 3 is literally hosed at this point. For what it's worth, I thought it might be my phone so I tried it with an iPhone. Same thing. When Spotify does work, it seems like I can only advance or reverse about 4 or 5 songs. Then the only way to advance or reverse is to hit the Play/Pause button, then it will start working again for another 4 to 5 songs. I have a Spotify premium subscription so I don't know if that's limiting me on the track skipping? Is it just my system?
