Took delivery this week of a 2010 Mercury Mariner. Comments and questions about the Nav System. The Navteq maps seem to be very accurate in locating your position. I do agree that they are a bit out of date and there are some obvious POI omissions however the optimist in me says that there will be updates sometime in the future. Does anyone know the name of the software that runs the system (Navteq just supplies the maps)? I would like to know more about the system, i.e., how do you handle waypoints, ect. Are there more detailed instructions other than those supplied with the vehicle??
