  1. Make sure you are using a USB stick v2 (black internal connector), not v3 (blue internal connector). After downloading, unzip the files including folders to the USB Stick (Do not put the ZIP file on the USB Stick). Insert the USB stick into the USB in the RUNNING vehicle. It can take up to 5 mins for the top of the screen to say it's updating. Depending on so many factors, the update can 30+ minutes (personally it's never taken more than 15 mins for me). It will then advise you that you can remove the USB stick. Then turn off the vehicle, open the drivers door to shut down all electronics. Wait a few minutes, then restart the vehicle, and check that you have to new version installed. I hope that helps..
  2. I had the same issue with my new OnePlus 7 Pro (Android 9) in my 2017. The fix for me, was removing (deleting) all phones in the Sync 3 system (There were 2 (old phone and new phone)), and then adding the new phone back in. No issues since.
  3. I don't know about an email address, but they do have a Twitter account for questions/comments (Twitter: Ford Service USA).
  4. Go to the Lincoln Owners web site and download the update (follow the instructions).. WiFi doesn't work, and never has. https://owner.lincoln.com/
  5. I had the same issue reporting the successful install on the web site. I contacted Sync (Live Chat), and got the usual answer "Go to the dealership". But as of yesterday (8/30/18), the web site update worked (I also cleared my browser cache before trying it).
  6. @mstoller71@aol.com, I sent you a PM..
  7. I looked on my system, and Ch 17 (poprocks), doesn't have a logo. And doing a quick scan of the channels, most have logos, but not all..
  8. I came across this TSB. But since you did not provide the Year / Model of the vehicle, we don't know if this pertains to you.. I have also read that other vehicle not in this TSB have had the same issue because of low battery voltage. TSB 14-0169: NO AUDIO OUTPUT AFTER STARTING FORD: 2013-2014 Edge, Explorer, F-150 LINCOLN: 2013-2014 MKX ISSUE Some 2013-2014 F-150, Explorer, Edge, and MKX vehicles may exhibit an intermittent concern of no audio output after starting the vehicle. This may occur during cold ambient temperatures or when abnormally low battery voltage levels are present. ACTION Reprogram the audio control module (ACM) to the latest calibration using IDS release 91.05 or higher. Make sure you are connected to the internet when entering module programming to guarantee you are receiving the latest updates. Calibration files may also be obtained at the website. 0.3 hr
  9. In Sync 3 v3.0, Android Auto icon will only show after you plug in your phone via USB cable. I don't know if you have AA set to auto start once the USB cable is plugged in,, I don't. So I have to start AA before I plug in the USB cable.
  10. The Sirius settings were in the Audio Screen on v2.2 & v2.3 while you were on a Sirius station. I'm going to try a Master Reset to see if it fixes the Android Auto not loading in Sync 3. Update: A Master Reset fixed the Android Auto Issue.
  11. The issue I am having with Android Auto is the icon is gone, but appears when you connect the phone via USB. But when Android Auto starts, 2 screens come up asking questions, and after you continue, Android Auto never loads on Sync 3. It loads on the phone only. I'll try a Master Reset next. Update: Master Reset Fixed the Android Auto Issue.
  12. You can remove the message by turning off "Automatic Updates" in the General Section. I noticed a Sirius Icon on the Setting Screen. The issue I am having is Android Auto. The icon is gone, but appears when you connect the phone via USB. But when Android Auto starts, 2 screens come up asking questions, and after you continue, Android Auto never loads on Sync 3. It loads on the phone only.
  13. You need Sync 3 version 2.2 or higher. Go to the General screen and see what version you have. If it's lower than 2.2, then go to Ford Owners web site, and download the update (follow the instructions on the web page).
  14. Are you using a USB 2 or USB 3 stick ? I don't think USB 3 works.
  15. I had this issue, when some of my contacts were saved on the SIM, and others where Google contacts. I switched them all to Google contacts, Disconnected/Reconnected Bluetooth (for a fresh download of contacts), and have not had the issue since.
  16. Did they add the ability to get to the Home Screen via Voice, rather than having to hit the Home Icon on the screen ?
  17. Same issue.. When it reads my texts messages, the audio is very very low, and the radio is still playing. The radio audio doesn't cut out to hear the message. I've even shutoff the radio audio, and I can barely hear the reading of the text message.
