  1. I updated to 4.4 Dec 2016, now my sync goes completely out every 6-8 weeks. I paid my deductible for my extended warranty in February to have it fixed the first time, dealership reinstalled software. April it goes out again, call tech support and was told it wouldn't be fixed till a software update was released, so I called Ford customer support to ask for a refund for the repair. Ford Customer support refuses the refund and insist there is no software issues. Was told they would talk with there engineers to come up with a fix, waited six weeks till I was contacted, Ford said they had the dealership delete the software and then reinstall. July it goes out again, Ford still claims its not a software issue, take it to the dealership. The dealership said Ford told them to disconnect the battery to force a hard reboot. Now I'm concerned that Ford has no intentions of honoring there extended service plan. Will find out in the next couple of weeks when the sync system goes out again.
  2. On my third visit to the dealer ship to fix my sync not working at all, the dealer ship disconnected the battery to force a hard reboot. More and likely another Temp Fix from Ford.
  3. They put me in weird situation, I paid my deductible for the ESP and all they did was reinstall 4.4. It worked for 5 more weeks. Now I'm in contact with a Ford customer rep, for the last 4 weeks. He said there is no software issue, sent me back to the dealership to have them install the correct software. The dealership told me the software is up to date, SYNC system still does not work. Contacted the Ford Rep again last Monday, he said he would check with Fords tech team and call me back. Today would be 6 business days and there has been no call back. My guess is Ford wanted the dealership to reinstall the software or force a hard reboot to get it temporary working again. I'm trying to be fair a patient with Ford, but its getting to the point were I feel they are not honoring there ESP.
  4. Don't install 4.4, I installed 4.4 on my 2012 F150 in December. By late January in was completely dead, no bluetooth, voice commands, or USB. Was then advised by Ford to take it to the dealership, all they did was reinstall the same version of 4.4. Reinstalling the software was only a temporary fix that lasted 6 weeks, my Sync System is completely worthless again. To be honest the worst thing is that Ford isn't taking responsibility for their mistake. I had to pay my 100.00 deductible for my Ford ESP to have a dealership reinstall there bad software. I guess Ford has zero intentions of honoring there ESP, since they cannot provide a fix for there SNYC system.
  5. Has anyone heard if Ford plans on fixing the software issue? I already payed 100.00 + tax, my deductible for the extended warranty, to have their mistake fixed the first time. Either Ford isn't taking responsibility for their software issue or the dealership took me for 100.00.
  6. I installed ver. 4.4 in mid Dec 2015 and 6-7 weeks later Bluetooth went out and voice commands. I called Ford, went through a master reset and nothing. Had to take it to the dealer ship, they reinstalled 4.4. That fixed it, until last Saturday. Once again Bluetooth and voice commands are not working. Is there an issue with Ver 4.4?
