Shelby, I have a 2016 MKX. When I took it for a test drive before purchase the sales person showed me the Travel Link feature and I thought this will be great. He told me that a 6-year subscription to Travel Link was included in the purchase of the car. Once I purchased the vehicle I called XM Canada to have my old XM radio ID subscription cancelled and the balance of time added to my 6 month trial subscription. They did that but, as soon as that was completed Travel Link no longer worked. Called XM back and they said that Travel Link was not an option in Canada and I should call Lincoln/Ford. I did and they said it was up to the dealer to register Travel Link with XM. Called the dealer and they said it was not their responsibility. Long story short, I think that we in Canada are not eligible for the free 6-year Travel Link subscription. If you have any new information please let the forum/me know.
