  1. Ford has released a update to fix the problems with 3.4 22251 https://www.ford.com/support/sync-maps-updates/
  2. I updated back min Feb and uploaded the XML file to Ford and their web site was never updated so I reinstalled the update again in April and resent the new XML file and still the web site shows that I have an update available.
  3. What is the latest version of sync 3?
  4. Yes I get the same. I have to bypass my security to get on the site
  5. I did post this on Ford Social at least 2 times and it never gets posted. I think they only post what they want to hear.
  6. Again I have to agree, $150 for a yearly update is HIGHWAY robbery I would be willing to pay $50 for an update download even. Like I said a $200 Garmin with lifetime maps is a far better deal. If my car hadn't had it on the lot I would never have ordered it.
  7. Good point, I have a $200 Garmin with lifetime maps which they update about 4 times a year that is much easier to use than Ford Nav and I can store personalized trips using multiple waypoints in order to travel what roads I want to use. Since everyone has a GPS in their car traffic on the usual fastest route from point A to B on a long trip is usually terrible. I can use other roads and usually make better time. The nice thing about Garmin is I can create a route on my computer using Garmin Basecamp and send it to my Garmin and then select the trip and press go.
  8. I have albums on a USD and for each album I have created a playlist using "playlist creator" that you can download for free or use any music software that wil create a playlist. Then all you have to do is say "USB" "play playlist #### or you can say play album, or play artist, or just say play song#### Your manual has all sorts of commands that use can use. Check it out
  9. Is there anyway to save a trip with waypoints so it can be used later in MFT? I have created numerous trips with my own waypoints in order to bypass heavy traffic and I would like to save them for future use without having to re-enter all my info. I currently use my $200 Garmin that lets me save my trips. It sure is too bad that a $200 Garmin gives me lifetime map updates, favorite trips and traffic and I have to use it instead of MFT
  10. Glad it worked out for you. I am pretty new to this tech stuff and I too had to use trial and error to achieve the results I wanted. The cool thing is that no matter how many songs or albums you have on your USB each song can have its own art work rather you use an album cover or some photo you download. Glad I could help
  11. attached is a screen shot of Tag Scanner showing the photo I used for an album I created, I just put the atrwork in and chose the size I wanted. It will resize any picture you want to the size you choose. Hope this helps all I know is that is how I did it then I created the playlist
  12. I had the same problem and I had to resize my cover art pics to 500 x 500 that is what MFT requires. I used a free program called Tag Scanner but I would think any MP2 tag program would work.
  13. Mine makes a double beep when the road you are to turn onto is approaching.
  14. Hello, Purchased a 2014 Ford Escape Titanium in April and hope to get some info on Sync and Navigation
