I talked to dealership and they claimed that attempting yourself causes other issues (?) and they experience many customers that have to get them to fix afterwards. Ford also claims that compatibility is on VIN number, and higher version of sync is not compatible. They are checking about media tile with Ford, maybe that uncovers a different silution.... pending this I may try myself...

Thanks Ben. yes, I can swipe left and right, NO media settings tile. Also, can I upgrade the version of sync myself via wifi in the car, or does the dealer have to do it?

Details do not show up for any CD, new or old. They do on my 2011 F350 though.... there is something about playing CD’s, like playing records that is part of the experience of listening. any other ideas out there?

I have a 2017 Ford Focus ST with sync3. I cannot get CD metadata displayed (artist, song) regardless of vintage of store bought CD. My moms 2017 Explorer with Sync3 does. Ford tells me this is “normal behaviour”!? Any help appreciated
