Yesterday my 2011 Edge (2 weeks old and 1,200 miles) screen showed "Audio Off" and I had zero with voice commands, Sirius, "Phone Button", just nothing. I "chatted" with the SYNC folks and was told to pull the SYNC fuse. Had to search the manual to find it was #29 tucked under an access panel in the left kick panel on drivers side. I had to pull that panel off plus another cover to expose fuse #29. Pulled that and left it out for 5+ minutes and reinserted it (without dropping it ) and the car "re-booted" and now all seem to be back to normal and functioning well. The system works great when it works and when I do things right. I'm finding a great number of the problems are ME not the system, at least until this reset thing.
If this is going to be a continuing problem I might have to wire an easier way to do this re-set. Hard on old knees and tough to stick my head into the access panel. Maybe Ford should come up with an aftermarket switch to do this more easily.
I'll be "discussing" this with the dealer on Tuesday.
