  1. Checking what? Ford Owner site? Why not just download the update from one of the posted links?
  2. The Dual Port Hub will disable the front port. The Hub itself has no connector for the cable running back to the front port whereas the single port version has a plugin running back to the front port.
  3. Do you have both update files for Non-Nav. The update process is a little different for non-nav based on what I have read over on another more active forum. A lot of good information over in this thread http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=41251
  4. I just got part #HU5Z-19A387-A in from Tasca Parts. It is a Single Port USB Hub that others have had success with. I am just waiting on a new connector (WPT-1239) because I have a 2015 Mustang with Sync 3 retrofit.
  5. Awesome! Yup, those surveys are live and die for them.
  6. I would do two things: First I would demand to speak to the GM of the dealership as nicely as patience will allow. Lay out the issues that you are having with Him or Her and ask what they will do to fix the situation. I doubt you will get a new vehicle but someone, somewhere has the part needed so perhaps they can make that happen. If you do not get the answer you would like, let them know that you are now going to contact Ford directly about the dealership and the service department. My dealership that I go to lives and dies by Ford surveys on how they are doing. Anything less than a perfect score and the service advisers and sales are in trouble. Perhaps the dealership you went to does not have the same strict guidelines but I imagine it will at least get the GM moving a little.
  7. Not a scam. You would likely have to swap out your current unit for one with the nav plus you would need antennas. I have dealt with that company for my MFT to Sync 3 upgrade on my 2015 Mustang and really wish I would have dealt with forum user OEMRadiosolutions aka Jesse out of Dallas instead. He is on a couple forums and his support is top notch. I would email him as he will absolutely know what you would have to do to get nav on your system. From my understanding the local dealerships in Dallas use him for after sale nav upgrades for their customers. As a matter of fact that company OEMautopartsco uses him to program their stuff anyway so I would recommend dealing directly with Jesse. I didn't head my own advice and I am regretting it daily. Anyway, his email is OEMRadiosolutions@gmail.com and you can find alot of his posts over on the mustang6g.com forums. If you direct message him over there (or maybe on here, not sure) he generally gets back to you almost immediately.
  8. Are you sure it is Sync 3 v1.1? That update supposedly is not out yet for 2016 models because it adds Apple Car Play which requires a new USB hub for iPhones. Maybe you actually do have it which would explain why no Apple devices are working. DOes a USB Thumb drive work? Edit: Oops Sync 3 v2.0 would be the Android Auto. No clue what I was thinking.
  9. Where did you get the Sync 3 unit from? Who programmed it? Did you have your Mustang setup on the ford owner site before install? I am just trying to figure out why yours shows up and many of ours do not. Any info you can give is helpful.
  10. Well that is cool. Did you program the unit yourself?
  11. Yeah I am in the same boat. I wonder why his updated and not ours. Maybe something with the programming?
  12. Can you screenshot that ad post it so we can see that the Ford Owner site recognizes that you have Sync 3. Mine does not; I have a 2015 Mustang that I just did the upgrade to Sync 3. It was programmed to my VIN.
  13. Add the LG VL600 LTE modem from Verizon to the list of unrecognized devices. I knew it was a long shot but oh well.
