  1. Just thought I'd update that the part HU5Z-19A387-A worked perfectly in my 2016 mustang, both the console USB and the front USB are active and detect Apple Carplay. Took 5 minutes to do the swap. If anyone is interested, http://www.waltsweeneyfordparts.com/had them in stock as of Wednesday, January 4th.
  2. OK thanks for the confirmation. Found a part number for a single port hub that might work and is not on eternal back order (I think). HU5Z-19A387-A
  3. I'm curious -- with that Dual port HUB you mentioned, does your front USB connector still work?
  4. I ran into the same problem when trying to update my Mustang. Then I found the Non-NAV update that is split into two separate updates: http://blog.namesbychris.com/SYNC3_NON_N...to_V22.zip It's very simple to do.. Follow the instructions in the READ ME file and it will work fine for the Non-NAV systems.
  5. Found the non-NAV link in the thread at this location: http://www.f150forum.com/f118/current-sync-3-carplay-android-auto-information-360660/index50/#post5083924 Edit: Applied the non-NAV update per the link I posted (2 parts) and worked great. Had to do a master reset as some audio settings were off when plugging in to use Android auto.
  6. Anyone else notice that the contact photos no longer appear on your Sync display when using a note 7 phone?
  7. Thanks! I'll start using the Bluetooth player then. What a disappointment though.
  8. I have a 2016 Mustang and a Samsung phone. When I launch the Spotify app from the APPS menu, it will get stuck at "Loading ..." It shows the reverse, play and forward buttons on the SYNC 3 screen, but that's it. If you hit the MENU button, and select something like Your Favorites, it just goes back to Loading. The only way to get out of this is to shut the car off, then back on - then (sometimes) Spotify will work correctly. I've also restarted the phone when it does this, thinking that would help -- no dice, SYNC 3 is literally hosed at this point. For what it's worth, I thought it might be my phone so I tried it with an iPhone. Same thing. When Spotify does work, it seems like I can only advance or reverse about 4 or 5 songs. Then the only way to advance or reverse is to hit the Play/Pause button, then it will start working again for another 4 to 5 songs. I have a Spotify premium subscription so I don't know if that's limiting me on the track skipping? Is it just my system?
