I have a 2009 Edge SEL that has a factory installed Sirius radio. I was sick and didn't use the Edge for 6 days and the battery drained to zero from a parasitic load. I charged the battery to about 90% and went to a Ford dealer for a battery check and charging system check. Everything checked out OK. During this time my Sirius subscription expired. Called Sirius and they sent a refresh signal. When I select Aux for the Sirius I can change channels and i see the satellite icon but i do not have audio. Sirius advised me to do a Master Reset. The Sync booklet that came with this vehicle provided instructions for performing the Master Reset. The Instruction discusses phones but nowhere in the Sync booklet is Sirius mentioned. Will the Master Reset fix the Sirius audio issue?

I have the same problem. It makes it hazardous getting the phone out to answer or to use when making a call. Defeats the purpose of SYNC.

I fixed this problem. I put the books on a CD in Mp3 format and quit using the I-Pod.

When my cell phone is synchronized to SYNC does my cell phone operate through an antenna powered by SYNC or does it use the phones antenna? A dealers service advisor said SYNC has its own antenna. I was just wondering which it is.

I just put some music in MP3 on a flash drive. When I plug it into the EDGE's usb and attempt to sync it the SYNC system indicates "NO USB". I have been trying different methods and different USB's for the last couple months with the same result, nothing. My I-POD connects and works, sort of. I use Mac computers, maybe this is the problem. Please help.

2009 Edge SEL I have a Mac formatted I-POD that works, sort of, BUT I cannot get any flash drives to work. It comes back as "Unsupported".

I want to put some short books on a CD from my I Tunes. What is the correct format? I just converted five books to MP3 and burned them to a CD, the Ford SYNC indicates 'BAD DISK". This same disk plays in my computer. Please HELP

I had it formatted as FAT. My Mac doesn't format FAT32. I tried every other format possible to me with the same results, IT was in "INITIALIZE" for a long time and then a message about not being able to continue. This software, from the SYNC My Ride site, was to see what version was on the SYNC
