Yes, my command is "explore USB", folder mode will show up there.

It can be done! Not easy and I'm not exactly sure how I got where I needed to be. I'll try to figure that out and post here for the two other people in the world with the same problem.

My wife's 2008 Edge, I get to try and find answers for her. I guess this is Sync 1, no? We're trying to get some control of the USB function. Voice commands are spotty at best, I would like to access and use "folder mode". I've been to the Ford dealer, several there have looked at it, no help. We've called Ford, nope. I have a fairly thorough Ford manual -- http://www.fordservicecontent.com/Ford_Content/catalog/owner_guides/08pnosn3e.pdf Most of the early Sync stuff seems to refer to touch screen units but at the end, there seems to be what's applicable to us. No specific way to access/implement the "folder mode". The in-car unit has folder up and down push buttons that do nothing, the voice system will go not further than "not in folder mode". Can someone help us use "folder mode"?
