  1. For some reason when I plug my iPhone into the USB to stream music, it doesn't charge my phone. My phone shows indication of charging but stays at the same percentage even when plugged in for hours. My music automatically stops playing music (pauses) almost every time I press skip on my phone or through the steering wheel control. It doesn't play audio on other apps such as snapchat or youtube, and occasionally I have to switch to the other sources and back to USB to get it to work and it is driving me crazy. Already did a master reset and it's updated to the latest version. Please help!
  2. I can't get Siri/Voice commands to work with the USB stick in Sync 3. I have even tried saying the basic voice command "USB" to Siri and she doesn't recognize it. I say "Play" and the song title, artist, etc but she doesn't understand. The FLAC music files play fine and I edited the ID tags (artist name ,ablum, etc) of the songs as well. Has anyone had any success with USB music voice commands? What am I doing wrong?
  3. Perhaps somebody can shed some light for me? i have a 2016 MKX with sync 3 and a new Galaxy S7phone. Up until recently i could advance or rewind songs using the Phone End or Phone Answer buttons. earlier this week those same buttons started controlling the media volume on my phone instead, and i now have to open up the phone to skip a song. thanks for any help. doug
  4. hello, using my samsung s5 with usb to connect for music. i would like to use voice commands, ie. play artist etc. what folder does my music need to be in on my samsung. it seems its reading it from my phones storage . after it builds a list, all i can play are ringtones. can i change it so it sees my cell phones sd card as media source and build the library there? thanks my sync is at SYNC v4.4
  5. I have a motorola droid bionic and 2010 ford fusion sport. I've had this problem hooking my phone up via the usb cord and playing music off the hard drive. Since it has an sd card and internal memory, it never knows which to mount. I was wondering if there was a way with either my car or my phone to make sure the correct hdd is selected. Thanks.
  6. I am incredibly angry. After having my new Explorer for a week, I want to smash the Sync screen and use my old portable CD player that plugs into the tape deck. Sync never remembers the song I was playing when I turned off the car. I can't figure out how to easily do anything. At times, I've had to pull over to the side of the road to safely get the air conditioning on before we get heat exposure. Sync will not recognize my voice. I can give commands but it does something completely different. The user interface is appalling. I'M DRIVING! I don't have time for this! I turned the temperature down to 65 with the button, yet still had to give the vocal command to turn on air conditioning. My kids were roasting in the back and I had to find the separate screen for turning on the air in the back of the truck. What a joke. At times I think part of my problem is a learning curve... but this much of a learning curve to control heat and cooling?? To play the same album I was listening to when I got out of the car?? We spent a ridiculous amount of money on this truck and I want to drive my 10 year old Explorer because at least we can make things happen. There are physical buttons that work. I am LIVID! Please tell me when an update is ready. Or even better, quit your jobs and let the professionals handle it.
