  1. I am experiencing problems with Sync3 not saving/uploading all contact information. I am running a 2016 F150 W/ Sync3. It is currently version 2.2 but this occured/occurs with versions 1.0, 1.1 and 2.2. Phone is an Android - Galaxy S7Edge On connection, the screen will flash "uploads completed". When I go to any given contact, not necessarily always the same one, the contact information (phone numbers) will not be shown. If I go to settings and select "reload contacts" and let it do its thing, when the upload completes and I go back to that same contact, the information that was missing is now present. It seems that the contact info gets reloaded every time I start the truck. Do they do this rather than try to check or sync settings? Any reason or cure for this missing data? Although I am presently running V2.2, I've noticed this with all three versions that have been installed at one time or another, so I don't think it is the result of an upgrade. Thanks Paul
  2. I have the same issue, I overcame it by using WayPoints. I select the destination I want, then I select a waypoint to go thru to get there. The only issue is you need to know a particular address or place to get the waypoint put into place Paul
  3. While the prompt is playing, you can use your volume control to raise or lower it. On my F150, you get a overlay with volume level while you are doing it. The vehicle will remember the setting till the next time you do a "reset"
  4. When I receive a text that was sent to multiple persons, Sync3 reads all the names and address before reading the text. I could care less that it was sent to 15 other people, who they were and what their number is. Is there a way to disable this portion and just hear the text? Paul
  5. I am running Sync3 in a 2016 F150 Lariat. Android phone connected. I can browse to some of my contacts, tap on their address and the navigation screen opens and allows me to select that location as a destination. Yet I can browse to another contact, tap on their address and I get an error message "no location found" Both are in a well mapped city, with USPS verified address. Why can Sync3 find one and not the other. The error doesn't seem to be consistent. Some areas that aren't well mapped show the address OK, other that are on the same street show the error message? Ford - do you read these posts? Any ideas Paul
  6. If you are on the F150Forum, this is a known issue with the new 2016's that Ford doesn't have a solution to. There seems to be two different thoughts 1) Turn the car off. Open the door and close it. Wait for at least one minute, then try to restart. 2) Same as above except the wait time must be at least 30 minutes There are claims that both work and don't work. Ford says they don't have an answer yet. Don't you just love spending 70Large on a new truck to have it not work Paul
  7. So, did the unit work after the change-over or not? All of Sync3 functional? Paul
