I bought an iPhone 11 and synced it to my Ford Sync. I previously had an iPhone 6. When using Siri to send a text message thru Ford Sync, Siri doesn’t realize I have quit talking. Perviously when Using iPhone 6, I would pull the Ford Sync lever on the steering wheel towards me for 3 seconds and Siri would beep in and I would say “Siri, i would like to send a text message to John Smith” and Siri would say “what do you want to say?” And i would say “I will see you in 10 minutes” and Siri would say “your message to John Smith says I will see you in 10 minutes are you ready to send” and I would say yes and Siri would say the message had been sent. NOW, it all works up to the part where I say “I will see you in 10 minutes”, but Siri doesn’t recognize that I am done talking. It just hangs there for 30 seconds or more. Sometimes After a brutally long pause, Siri will come back, sometimes she doesn’t. when going straight thru my iPhone, ie, not using Ford Sync, Siri works just fine. I have also updated Ford Sync to the most recent release. help!
