In my 2018 f150 The whole sync system is garbage. Especially the gps. Maps at least 5 years out of date. A lot of Hotels, campgrounds that it directs you to don't exist. Out of 3 campgrounds, 1 had been gone at least 10 years and is a subdivision, another closed 8 years ago and the third had moved 2 miles away, with a new address about 4 years ago. 2 hotels had been ripped down and had 20 story apartment buildings erected. One way roads not marked or marked wrong way. I just use my cheap portable garmin.

Have no need for one. Everybody I know, knows my home phone number and where I live. Land line is a lot cheaper. Don't need to be in touch 24/7. Nobody is that important!

To use Google maps etc, I would have to buy a cell phone!

I guess I'll just keep using my Garmin then. I'm not going to spend a couple of hundred to download an update that is out of date. Ford GPS is garbage.

2018 f150. Updated sync3 in the last couple of months.Why are there no border crossings found on the system? Also the maps are very out of date. 2 of 4 campgrounds did not exist and looking at the subdivision, had not for at least 10 years. 1 of the others had changed names and moved 2 block away in 2011, no update. Traffic circle installed 5 years ago not on system. My cheap handheld Garmin works better and is more accurate.
